  1. Now, the logical next move would be for him to read the e-mail again and find other words which would leave the possibility of more than friendship open ! I remember scanning through e-mails, letters, conversations and the likes trying to find that one word that would open certain perspectives.

Btw, EXCELLENT run here Jeroen, you’ve been spot-on for quite a while now !

  2. even when he won’t find now any other gate to her heart, he will think “not now, maybe later I will do sth spectacular and then…it’s just matter of time”

  3. I like this new meaning of “F’ed” – well.. new and old, since I think we all know what it feels like to be cut down to size this way … ;)

  4. Now if this were a female, we would spend hours and hours dissecting the email and agonising on the phone with our friends about the connotations of every word. With special significance attached to whether or not there was a kiss on the bottom of the mail. (PS. Was there??)

  5. once, just once, years ago, after asking someone out and got the friend reply, i just said ‘no, i’m too busy for my friends as it is. it has to be something more.’

    and then walked away.

though in this case, i guess you would have to type it.
