Awwwwww man! Happy and sad all at the same time…
“Excrutiatingly”, would be my first pick, even if Firefox doesn’t recognize it. Your mileage (kilometerage?) may vary.
sad
but a good happy sad
good strip today
oh dear *hugs* the little dude, that’s sad.
How about htis word?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saudade
Saudade is the perfect word in this instance I think. I looked up “Mu,” but in the given context, it won’t work here.
Jereon, you always manage to put to paper and pen exactly what I seem to be feeling at different points, and this one drilled closer to home more than I would like to admit. Thank you, for making me realize, that there are those who feel the pain at a much deeper level other than myself.
@R. Prince: excellent suggestion!
It is a little sad that this is exactly how I feel….. I am happily amazed that you got it to the t… Sometimes there are just no words
. . . do you hear that cracking sound? it’s the sound of my heart breaking. oy.
I just stumbled onto this blog when I was searching for a picture of something (anything!) to portray my feeling of “moving on”… turns out that it was a comic from a few years ago that it showed me, but it was absolutely perfect. I’ve started reading a few more of these, and I can’t believe how accurate a reflection of my own life so many of them are! This one in particular… I’m definitely bookmarking this.
Great work! Thank you.
Sad.. yet in the right way.. if that makes sense..
poor guy
