  1. From what concerns me I like the new development. If you look at the history of the comic it didn’t change pretty much during the years. The little man now is finaly getting places :D

  2. I’m probably more likely to make dutch and belgian people cry (or laugh) when I try to pronounce “ui” (onion, a weird dutch specific sound somewhere between ow and oy) then when actually chopping it… ;-)

Anyway, keep doing what you like to do. There’s no fun for you and the audience if you just grumpily keep on doing the same old stuff again and again.
Though maybe I might think a bit different if I was in friend zone (like so often in my live) instead of a relationship.

  3. comrade, i can affirm on behalf of the entire committee of my comrades following happy/sad that we fully support the new developments

  4. Indeed, the Australian contingent (of whom I have just appointed myself leader AND Spokeswoman) agree, we are very much in favour of the new Happy/Sad developments.

(This may or may not have anything to do with the fact that I am sucker for a good love story)

  5. I am not sure who these people are, but personally I am happy for the little guy. He gives me hope that you can find someone that really cares for you, for someone that has gone through the whole friend zone I need someone that can give me some hope. :) have fun!

  6. I’d like to say on behalf of your Scottish fans (since appointing ourselves as spokes people is the in-thing today!)

“oan yersel wee man” (loosely translated as “good for you, sir!”)

It’s wonderful to see some happy to balance the sad and I love that it gives the rest of us hope! :)

  7. Maaaaan, keep the story as it is, if he is happy keep him that way!
All your fans from Argentina support the new development!!
At least I do, maybe ’cause I’m in a very happy moment of my life, but who cares! KEEP IT LIKE THIS!!

  8. Hena from India – definitely happy about the developments for the little man!
After all, some of us are living vicariously through this love story :)

  9. i think this comment page itself deserves a shoutout in your comic :D

*actually if i were french, i’d write “from paris, with love”*

  10. As the little guy once supported Iran :P , I (not on behalf of my brethren!) totally support the theme changes in the little guy’s quest for ultimate love and happiness. Not to mention that I too have a girlfriend who lives half way across the world!
It’s New Year or as we call it Noruz here so cheers everyone!
